Andrew's work and home life tend to blur, so it's a good job that he enjoys his work so much and that his wife and daughters are understanding. When not working, he spends his time at children's parties, at various playzones or on the beach with his labradors, Piper and Bailey. If he does have time, he watches and plays football. He really enjoys family ski trips; the mixture of watching his daughters progress and consuming fondue and mulled wine is perfect.
Andrew established Pinel Advocates and has seventeen years’ experience in advising a range of clients on corporate and commercial, private client and investment funds matters.
He was most recently praised by the Legal 500 for being "a good communicator with a commercial outlook" (Banking and Finance), also noting that he "shows considerable legal expertise" (Corporate and Commercial) and "deals with matters with a calm assurance" (Investment Funds).
Andrew is on the board of examiners for the Jersey legal exams, dealing with the Company Law, having previously marked the paper on the Security Interests (Jersey) Law 2012.
Andrew was also praised by the Legal 500 for investment funds, for being “responsive and experienced” in corporate and commercial matters and having “the requisite experience” in banking and finance.
Andrew was ranked by Chambers and Partners as a leading lawyer for investment funds advice in Jersey, which also praised him for being “pragmatic, accessible and helpful”.
