Peter has been in practice as a Jersey property lawyer since 1980 qualifying as an advocate of the Royal Court in March 1985. He was a partner in the Jersey law practices of Ogier up until January 2013 and Bedell Cristin from February 2013 to December 2016.
He has extremely extensive knowledge of the Jersey conveyancing system and property laws. He has been engaged in all aspects of residential conveyancing but predominantly concentrates on commercial property transactions including lettings of commercial properties, development acquisitions and disposals and lending secured against Jersey property. As such he has been actively involved in some of the largest transactions in the island including the Waterfront Development, the development of the new Next Store in King Street and the negotiation of leases for the M&S outlets in the island.

Four boys all aged under six take up much of Peter’s spare time. Gardening and walking his spaniel and golden retriever in the countryside, and cooking on the barbecue are other interests. He has also since January 1989 been a member of the prominent Jersey charity “The Bosdet Foundation” being for over 20 years its Chairman.
