Andrew established Pinel Advocates and has over twenty-five years’ experience in advising a range of clients on corporate and commercial, private client and investment funds matters.
He regularly advises on a range of areas, including:-
real estate finance and structuring;
mergers and acquisitions of trading and regulated entities, both in Jersey and outside;
listings on LSE, AIM and TISE;
investment fund launches and regulatory matters;
private client and trust matters.
He was recently praised by the Legal 500 for being "bright and practical" (Banking and Finance), also noting that he "shows considerable legal expertise" (Corporate and Commercial) and "deals with matters with a calm assurance" (Investment Funds).
He also established Piper Bailey, a venture capital business, making investments in Jersey and outside. He advises businesses and owners on growth strategy, financing, development and exit plans.
Andrew is on the board of examiners for the Jersey legal exams, dealing with the Company Law, having previously marked the paper on the Security Interests (Jersey) Law 2012. He is also a member of the Corporate and Commercial Sub-Committee of the Law Society of Jersey.

Outside Interests
Andrew’s outside interests surround his family and sporting pursuits. He is a keen football fan, plays tennis and is a runner, He is also involved with Jersey Spartan Athletics Club, where he coaches throwing, as well as the minis section. He loves skiing with his family in the Alps, followed by fondue and wine.
