David is a lover of the great outdoors. He is happiest when out on the water or up in the mountains. When out of the office he can often be seen with his Border Collie cross at his side or dragging him along the cliff-paths or across the beaches in search of their next adventure.

David undertakes a wide range of corporate, commercial, trust, fund and regulatory matters. David regularly:
provides advice to local and UK individuals and companies on the sale and purchase of corporate structures and their assets;
provides advice in relation to corporate re-organisations, mergers and redomiciliations;
provides advice in relation to local commercial property transactions; and
provides advice to a range of Jersey trust companies on the establishment of trusts and foundations, the appointment and distribution of trust assets, the retirement of trustees from trusts and the termination of trust structures.
Relevant Experience
His representative matters include advising on the Jersey law aspects of the following transactions:
providing advice to a multi-national, New York Stock Exchange listed, technology company in relation to a Jersey based joint venture;
advising on the restructuring of, and providing regulatory advice in relation to the procedures and policies of, one of the Jersey’s leading trust companies;
advising on the first merger between a US and a Jersey company under the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991, leading New York counsel in the process and assisting in the formation of new procedures for such mergers in future; and
advising a Polish private equity group on regulatory, establishment and other issues in connection with the creation of a €150,000,000 Jersey regulated expert fund.
