Outside interests
Janina spends her time outside of work with her husband, two young children and much loved dog, Agnes. When work, weather and the tides permit, they spend as much time as they can on their boat visiting the beautiful beaches and islands in and around Jersey and France.
Janina also undertakes a half ironman and Olympic distance triathlon each year. Though she is not mad enough to want to complete a full ironman, she is determined to swim around the island in the next few years.

Profile
Janina has worked in Jersey since November 2008 and has over 11 years’ experience in the following:
Submitting probate applications to the Royal Court in cases where the deceased was non-domiciled. Janina has a thorough understanding of the probate process of many different jurisdictions from Ghana to Greece, Malta to Mozambique and Spain to Saudi Arabia. At her last count, she had experience of the probate process in over 35 different jurisdictions. This allows Janina to recognise from a very early stage, exactly what documents will be required for the application in Jersey and importantly, to provide perspective clients with a fixed fee to consider. Janina is a ‘go to’ for a large number of firms both in the UK and worldwide, who recognise Janina’s ability to deal with the Jersey portion of the estate professionally, smoothly and for a competitive upfront fee. Janina finds this area of law fascinating and she very much enjoys working with people and law firms from around the world.
The administration of local estates. The aim is always to take the burden of those left behind, and to administer the estate in a calm, clear and timely manner. This is an area Janina finds particularly rewarding.
Assisting and advising on the preparation of Wills for both our local and non-domiciled clients.
Assisting and advising on the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Delegate matters.
