Eleanor Colley, Associate at Pinel Advocates, was today sworn in by the Royal Court of Jersey as an Ecrivain. We are delighted and wish Eleanor the very best for the undoubtedly successful legal career ahead of her.
An Ecrivain is a Jersey solicitor and candidates have to pass the grueling and difficult Jersey legal exams.
Advocate Andrew Pinel said "This is a wonderful day for Elie and we hope that she and her family enjoy it all. She has worked tremendously hard. Whilst I wasn't at all surprised, for her to fly through the exams with apparent ease at the first attempt is a great achievement."
Eleanor is pictured in the Old Library of the Royal Court, with her husband, Miguel.
